I believe this is a simple enough question, with just as simple an answer.

I think I already know how, but I want to double check, because obviously I don't want to brick my console.

I jailbroke using PS3Xploits (so I don't have or need an E3 Flasher) and am running 4.81 Rebug (if it makes a difference)

My guess: You downgrade to 3.55 and then just do a normal system update via internet?

I want to unjailbreak my console to safely play Destiny. I miss the game, and don't want to risk the ban, simple as that.

Um, just put your console in OFW mode, disable syscalls and enjoy your game.

Otherwise, yes, downgrade to 3.55 and use the Update via Internet option

The only problem with going into OFW mode/Disabling syscalls for Destiny is people said even doing that they still got banned so I'm gonna update it to actual OFW for Destiny, thank you

Would I use the same 3.55 downgrade I used to jailbreak my console? (Rogero's Downgrader)

So I downloaded Rogeros Downgrader, put it in my usb (Fat32) in PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP and went to update on xmb, it tells me the data is corrupt. When I try it in recovery mode, it doesn't detect the update. Any ideas? If it is just a bad download could you link me to a good one? (Tried 2 separate downloads they both gave me the same issue

you can try it without downgrading, just make sure you have toggle qa flag enabled in rebug toolbox
Gives me the same error even with the Official PS3's version, and if I go to recovery mode, says the same thing

Error: The data is corrupted.
(80029CCA)

Recovery Mode: No applicable update data was found.
Connect storage media that contains update data of version 2.70 or later, and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time

System Info: 4.81 Rebug DEX
COBRA: 7.31
(Toggle QA was enabled as well, I triple checked that)
Idk if the system info helps at all, but if there's anything else you need from it let me know
