Modding dies Hello CCM, Today I want to discuss with you about modding and the future. First of all a Happy New Year, it's 2021  Today's topics are about:

The problem why modding dies
Why the modding community is a catastrophic one
The end is coming soon
Note all statements are based on my own opinion and are not to hurt anyone. The problem why modding dies Modding has been around for as long as there have been games and will continue to be. Why modding has now come to a point where it is a big problem for the industry? We all know, we use it as a game advantage, better? Unfair game advantage! Unlock all accounts because we have no fun to play or you are bad and use mods that create someone powerful features like godmode, aimbot, etc. And that's exactly what the game industry doesn't like, the fun of playing is lost and also a big disadvantage is that the industries make less money when we buy Unlock all's for example. That's why industries invest more money for security to stop this kind of modding. Meanwhile they also threaten cheaters with bans, fines and justice if they are caught. That is why the interest and modding (hacking & cheating) also decreased. There is one important difference! I create mods because I want to:

be unfair and make little kids cry.
add new maps, weapons, modes, etc.
Why the modding community is a catastrophic one Dying of modding also include the various communities, thanks to various tools created by many would-be "programmers". It became more of a trend to create their own copy + paste tools, mods especially mod menu's whose functions always remained the same bad. Of course there are exceptions where some have published really great projects, mostly by people who have knowledge in game development. Then the community comes into play instead of motivating themselves and create their own mods, it is in most cases so that you would like to have the source code. Then when they have the source codes they need help because they didn't copy it correctly. Sad but true instead of learning programming first and creating a great project with friends. No I just create a mod menu and make sure there is more trash. There's a lot more to write but it's not worth it. The end is coming soon Who has read everything so far can already imagine why. The game manufacturers are working more and more with better technologies, which then leads to the fact that we spend more and more time in software, research and development. We waste our time and have nothing and the community wants our source again. That kills our motivation. I think now everyone understands why people like me have no motivation. What is also to say that I am not a game developer. I would be interested to know what your opinion is on modding? Regards VerTical :VerTical:
