It's not as easy as you seem to try to be making it. Now gpd mods is another story those take 2 seconds to create for this game. But with gpd mods you are very very very very very very limited to how many binds and and cvars you can use, i'm pretty sure the limit was 255 or 128 characters or 500, I would have to go look again. But back to the topic, this thread is for a pc menu not xbox or ps3, the videos I have linked are the very first cod 2 ISO mods for xbox 360 , cfg menus with actual scroll for both sp and mp, as well as gsc menus again as iso mods, non rgh etc,.</p></blockquote><p></p>
For xbox it was done via GPD originally before I made and ported menus via gsc and cfg for ff files., but even then you had to use devmaps via gpd. The cod 2 GPD used cfg as the gpd held cfg based cvars, binds etc. No idea for ps3, don't play ps3, and call of duty 2 for xbox only has FF and sound files, it has no open source .cfg files like call of duty 3 did. For xbox you have to decompile the ff's, all cfg stuff for iso modding is stored in snd and snd_mp.ff a cfg based menu can be seen here that i made : The only way cfg was done on cod 2 for xbox was via the gpd method which always reset the gpd when going into single player, aka removed the majority of the binds. Again there are no .cfg files in call of duty 2 for xbox that are directly seen to the eye, they are all stored in the snd and mp_snd.ff files. Even then it all has to be hex edited because unlike cod 2 for pc, the gscs and cfg files aren't with the code, the file names are at the top of the ff files in hex while there cfg/gsc code is scattered throughout the ff.
