Answered how to restore filesystem without getting rid of the jailbreak

So i have a 4.81 cfw ferrox jailbreak and i want to switch to rebug rex 4.81 but it gives corrupted data error both on recovery mode and normal.So do you have any suggestions on how to switch to rex?(please help )

Check to ensure you have proceeded with these steps:

* Ensure your usb storage device is formatted to fat32
* place the update file in this folder structure: PS3/ UPDATE / place the UPDATE file here
* Rename the update file to " PS3UPDAT.PUP "
* Place the usb storage device in the USB port 2 ( closest to the dvd drive )

If the issue still continues downgrade back to 3.55 then attempt to install Rebug 4.81 from there.
