Question .Menu Script - Question

Hello guys, I want to return to scripting, i've been analyzing code from sprx mod menu for PS3 and .menu for pc, The code was pretty much the same, (C++), My qestion is, Are .Menu script the equivalent of what sprx menu is for PS3 on PC ?

No they are not the equivalent to c++ or an sprx menu, it has a layout but is more like a little "scripting" language for the menus and overlays ingame
