Question Mod Menu Shader Assets

I noticed jay coder had added a custom shader and font for his family guy menu. I was wondering how this is done, is it just using APE and adding a texture to the game? then calling it like createRectangle(0,0,0,0, "shader", 0, 0);

im pretty sure he just replaced some texture files in redacted, if you wanted to do it on any other platform you need to find where the shader you want to overwrite is loaded in memory and write your own image there
