I'm sick of searching everywhere to find fixes for all my modding problems so I put it in a single thread\

1. How to download custom maps

Step 1 : Find a map you like here :

Release - Black Ops 3 Custom Zombie Maps Managed List (All posted maps)

Hello guys :handwaving:, here you can find a managed list with all posted Black Ops 3 Custom Zombie Maps. Every map includes a external download for users who can't access the Steam Workshop. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Q: I can't find the map I'm looking for? A: You can request maps here...

Here it has all the working maps

Step 2 : Download it (obviously)

Step 3 : Put it in your folder. Find your Black Ops 3 folder and create a folder named "usermaps" and put your map inside that folder. Now open the file "workshop.json" found inside your map's folder. Rename your map's folder to the name you found in "workshop.json".

If you did this right you will find in the multiplayer/zombies map selection the map you downloaded

2.How to download mods

This is easy.

Step 1. Download a mod from here Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Mods

Step 2. Create a new folder in your Black Ops folder called "mods". Now just drag your mod here and launch call of duty and you can access it in your "Mods" section.

3. How to fix Fastfile error

Step 1. Make a folder named "zone".

Step 2. Put the files that are inside the folder you created in 1. Step 3. Inside the folder you just created

fastfile fix doesnt work, I already did that for every map ive downloaded and I still get the error on some maps

ok I figured out the fix, the files inside the zone folder have to be the same name as the folder in usermaps
ie: map name in folder is zm_bone and the files inside zone zm_boner in the file names the file in usermaps has to be changed to zm_boner

if the folder in usermaps is named town1 and the files inside the zone folder are named town, the the folder in usermaps needs to be changed to just town

I keep on getting an error when loading the map either way, en_zm_town. Fastfile error saying unable to execute file

Me too, when i launch town remastered black screen , and the console says that " en_zm_town"is unable to execute file . Can someone help me?

I keep on getting an error when loading the map either way, en_zm_town. Fastfile error saying unable to execute file

It seems like after unloading mods and using the zonefix program town remastered still isn't working so my only guess is that its missing components or doesn't work on this version. Request for it in the sub forum and there is a small possibility they will fix it

Hey man, do you by any chance have the "crack" file the bo3 game comes with? I deleted the .iso file after the installation thinking that there wasn't anything else left to do, but when I open the game, it prompts steam to pop up and wont let me launch it. I would really appreciate not having to download 107GB just to get a crack folder.

its a torrent check to only download the folder "CRACK"
Edit : Nevermind its within the .iso file and i removed it. if i could i would upload them :/

the problem is that we need the new version i think that is the v98 but the only way to get that version is in steam so we only have to whait or buy the game

hey i have nosteam verison of call of duty black ops 3 , how can i play custom zombie map . i did everything u mentioned , but the maps does't show in my game .. plese some one help
