Will there be mod support for battle bit remastered? Are there any official sources?

At the moment, there are no official mods for BattleBit Remastered but there is a simple texture remap. One of the main pieces of information we can use to fuel our hopes is that of an official BattleBit tweet, which states there aren't plans for mods just yet.
