Discussion Ban Fortnite from CabCon Modding

@Starh Most of the time i am the one that need to respond to these “Give me cheat” comments, But i dont mind. This community is open for everyone.

I understand why this annoy you, but instead of making such a big deal out of a couple of posts in for Fortnite section and in the shout box, just ignore it.

I agree and disagree. If anything was going to be posted for fortnite it should he by a trusted user who's been here for awhile and worth while releasing. This will eliminate all other problems, such as scams, spam, etc...

I have a different idea. Maybe threads from new/unactive members need to be cited for evaluation by the staff before they actually go up. That way something garbage stays garbage and something real stays real. But i totally agree with what you're saying. That way it'll be guaranteed to at least be worth the read if its from a known member.

I don't mind if the Fortnite subforum staying open, What i ask is for the mods to review any "cheats/hacks" thread before they go up. I have found scam threads before and reported them but it takes time for them to get deleted so if their was a review system it could stop any scam threads from getting posted. and maybe put a message at the top of the Fortnite subforum in bold saying "There is no fortnite cheats right now".

The vote up the top says that the majority agrees with banning. I think @CabCon should let go of *his* forum, and let the community have a chance at making some changes. I think a poll (link to a poll) above the Shoutbox and 10 days to vote should determine the outcome.

If the section is voted to stay open, then anyone should be able to post, if not, then why should we not restrict the other sections? Still sticking by my 5 posts min to create a thread thing I've pushed for since day dot though. But now it's up to CabCon. Are we a modding forum (CabConModding), or a Cheats, Hacks and Modding forum? I'd agree with #2, but we can't verge from cheats among the mods now.

You do realize that almost every game sections has a cheats and hacks section as well, right?

guys I would to love give everyone a detailed answer to your long written arguments and post. Unfortunately I'm currently on vacation in Malta so I'm not able to do that now. I'll do if I'm back. However thank you very much to start some great discussion about the Fortnite section.

But I would love to clear some things before you guys discuss and argue yourself like a hell!

• We won't close the Fortnite section. Why should we? It's like @The Dark Side mentioned, we can clearly see that people are interested in Fortnite Modding, Hacking and Cheating. Also we already have a moderation queue for new members inside of all sections.
• Secondly one of our brand cores is: CabConModding is open for anybody. With that we CabConModding decided years ago to support anybody with their issues however which knowledge they have. If people have no idea what the current status is about Fortnite hacks. We will give them an answer. And we are open and friendly to these people like to everyone else here. I agree to the part that we have to make it clearer that there are no free Fortnite hacks available. Our current solution for this problem is the FAQ post but it looks like it won't work that well.

CabCon in Malta is like Anomaly in Malta... two tings which doesnt fit properly.

EDIT: I wouldnt recommend to put Fortnite Hacks on here, as of Epic will sue you.

Epic wont sue anyone here, only the creators of the cheats have a chance of being sued, and that chance minimal.

Well, "promoting" the cheats is against the ToS.

You aren't allowed to sell cheats and make a profit off of them business wise. They can detect public cheats quite quick even once released with a mass number if cheaters and downloads. They would be paying too much money to sue for something that hasn't made any money.
