Features
[MWZ] - Complete Edition
"50,000 people used to live here..."
Introducing an experience overhaul mod, while still maintaining that core "Black Ops 3 Zombies" feel. This is the Zombies mod, but a separate and complimentary Multiplayer mod will (probably) follow at a later date. Be sure to read through the description for all sorts of information. This mod is still a work in progress, but is nearing completion.
This mod is made to work with Treyarch's official maps (all 14) only. Play the Lite Edition if you wish to play on custom maps.
Below are the currently available features, with more to be added over time.
Different maps have their own set of characters taken from MWR's multiplayer mode.
Not every perk listed is available on every map. Free Perk power up doesn't give Tombstone.
Double Tap is nerfed to 1.0 (only increases rate of fire). Use Stopping Power for increased bullet damage instead.
Widow's Wine no longer has its own special knife (Commando has this ability instead).
Widow's Wine grenades can no longer be manually thrown, freeing up the lethal slot. (It has its own inventory slot / HUD element now.)
Commando's damage stacks with other melee weapons (such as Lust's weapon butt or the M9's tactical knife) and will replace Bowie/Sickle with its own version (you'll see an orange knife trail).
Depending on the game mode and options selected, various power ups will be enabled by default or can be earned.
Trading Table requires that you trade your current weapon for the one on the table. If there is none, it will take your current weapon to store there. You cannot simply take a weapon from the table, as you must always offer something in exchange to use it.
The Pack-a-Punch machine has been added to the World at War Zombies Chronicles maps that lack it: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, and Shi no Numa. As well as some custom maps that lack the machine, like Clix's FARM.
Most of the weapons can be inspected by holding down the reload key (R by default). Weapons may gain/lose their inspect animation upon upgrading, as its set of animations may be different. You can cancel the inspect by shooting.
Magic Wheel and Trading Table are not available on custom maps. They need to have their specific co-ordinates set on a per map basis. Some custom maps will have them added in the future.
Magic Wheel can do the following things to the player:
Give a random perk (uncommon)
Take a random perk (very rare)
Give a random Gobblegum (uncommon)
Give a random weapon (common)
Skip a round (rare)
Hurt the player until they redscreen (very rare) *It is possible to die from this if your health is low enough
Produce a random power up (uncommon)
Give the player a random amount of points (common)
Take a random amount of points from the player (common)
Do nothing and laugh at the player (common)
The cost of the Magic Wheel will increase by 100 for every use (for everyone) until it reaches 1000, at which point, the cost will increase by 500 per use. This caps out at 10,000 points. Cost resets the next round.
There are several custom perks in this mod, one of which has its own machine.
Update Support
There are a bunch of planned features, changes to gameplay, etc that will be implemented over time. Don't expect the updates to stop just because of Black Ops 4.
A killstreak is kills without going down or dying.
Tactical Nuke requires a 2500 killstreak by default or 2000 killstreak with Hardline perk.
Specialist Strike Package requires 200, 400, and 600 killstreak for free perks.
The cost is cheaper with Hardline for 100, 300, and 500 killstreak for free perks.
Specialist Bonus requires 800 killstreak for most perks (similar to Perkaholic) that are permanent.
The cost is cheaper with Hardline for 650 killstreak for the bonus.
Quick Revive isn't permanent in solo (3 uses as usual) and Mule Kick doesn't remember your third weapon.
Doomstreaks are granted automatically as the player performs progressively worse. Going down counts once towards a Doomstreak, while dying counts twice as much.
Players who perform poorly will receive temporary buffs to help them out.
Players can upgrade more than once for various proficiencies or special ammo. These offer passive buffs or new ways to use your weapons when applied.
See weapons list above in the slideshow at the top.
