How to correctly add images to your threads

Hello CCM
I've been seeing some threads with broken links such as

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

so i wanted to make this thread...
(I'll be using lightshot, might work with others)

STEP 1:
Upload the image to the cloud

STEP 2:
Go to the images URL

STEP 3:
Right click on the image and select "copy image address"

STEP 4:
Click the image uploader on the thread control panel thing:

STEP 5:
Paste link in text box and you're done
