Quite simple question, hopefully a simple answer. I heard of Photoshop, Affinity and GIMP? What are actually good programs paid or free, doesn't matter.

I've been using Photoshop for a while now, a little bit of a learning curve in the beginning but once you know it well its a very good photo editor.

I'm personally using Adobe Photoshop. It's quite large and complex but somtimes hard to learn well.

Never tried Affinity but it looks quite well.

The Thread is old, but I'll still reply :grinning:
I personally use Photoshop and InDesign for Photos
InDesign is more for filters and rough effects, etc.
Photoshop basically covers all the functions of InDesign tho.

Photo editing with InDesign interesting....

I personally only use InDesign to create layouts or orders for posters, cards and flyers.

Really depends on what you want to do. As I said.. it's really general and only for quick and rough work. Usually I end up in Photoshop tho.

Wouldn't touch GIMP with a 6foot stick. It's too much of a learning curve for me, I just want to do basic edits- not study rocket science for 6 years before I learn to rotate a picture.
