This tutorial is for the Non-Steam version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1; Make sure you have the game installed and the game works fine

Step 2; Go onto the game and make sure you have the Server Browser function.
Solution: If you do not have the Server Browser function, then update your game to Update 17, whilst adding all updates before that as well.

Step 3; Connect to Tunngle, and search for the Network: Call of Duty Black Ops III.

Step 4; Launch the game whilst Tunngle is running in the background, and make sure Tunngle is allowed through your Firewall.

Step 5; Search for a game in the LAN area of the Server Browser. If all goes well, you should be able to play.

If you require my assistance, just comment on the thread, I will be more than happy to help.

I am also aware that people using a CRACKED version will NOT be able to play with people on Steam.
Unless you put yourself through the pain of updating to
UPDATE 37 then I advise to stick to playing with people on CRACKED only, or just save the hassle and SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS, AND BUY THE GAME.

Hello there!

Me and my friends are trying to play Black Ops III Zombies on LAN (via Hamachi), but can't seem to make it work. Some help would be much appreciated! Many thanks in advance!

Are you using Steam or Cracked, I have more info on LAN but I haven't got the time to update it at the moment. I could tell you here when you reply.

We all have the Reloaded version. The thing is, we set up the Hamachi network (also tried via VPN) but can't seem to find each other's lobby. I am not entirely sure if this is the process to host a lobby, but here it is: I launch the game and enter zombies, then my friends are trying to look up my game (via the Server Browser or the "Find Games" option), but they cannot seem to find it. Any ideas? Many thanks!

That is correct, the method of course. If you are using Update 17, then your chances of finding the lobby is close to 0. This is a bug in the Update 17 from Reloaded and will make it unable to find LAN lobby's. Update 37 is the only update that has a secure LAN fix. Update 37 is hard to find and might as well buy the game in order to play with Friends.

We do use the Update 17 because we haven't really known about this bug, which is pretty unfortunate...By any chance, do you have a link to download Update 37, or some suggestion, where to find it? Anyway, thank you for your help, it was much appreciated! Have a nice day!

@Joeyyyy I got the 88.00.00 update and I was wondering if you could help to play lan. We don't know how to host a game, we have tunngle, and we havent been able to host/join a server. I don't know how

Update 17 is a very buggy update, your chance to play on it is close to 0, it's just best to buy the game

The only way to host a game is to have the Private Game feature, which you do not get when in the Offline status of Black Ops 3.

I confirm it doesn't work and there's any link to that "update 37" (probably doesn't exist). I don't know the point to make a tutorial to something that you didn't even test.
