Greetings,
I am going to be releasing a client some people have been asking for. This version with allow a player to play online or offline, no matter what their internet status is. It emulates the online services so if you have your computer in airplane mode or if you just don't have any internet, you can still play and rank up.

This version also has the fix that will allow players to play on the latest version of Windows 10.
This is provided by PeterG. Credit goes to him for the .dll.

Unfortunately, I am still trying to find a way to fix the stats error so players can rank up and not have to lose their rank randomly and have to reset.

Video showing the emulation of the online services:

Here you bois go:

It's missing the steam_api.json, can you please provide that too?

Other than that, nice release! Thank you very much!

My invite button is gone (I am running p2p, cause where me and my friend is going we are not able to access internet for a couple of days). Party is open, NAT is moderate.

I did forget the steam_api.json. I will update the .rar and update the thread here when possible. But why are you running the client twice on the same computer?

Thank you, that would be awesome!
I am running two VMs on a p2p internal network to see if that would work. But I get a NAT type of moderate and the invite button is gone. ):

To simulate p2p networking, since I do not own two machines. And I would love to see if this release would work over p2p instead of requiring an internet connection.

I updated the .rar with the steam_api.json. I also do not recommend to play with 2 different clients as its 2 different clients going through the same connection. It seems like it would work but I highly doubt it will.

Nice, thanks!

It's the same client on two different VMs, they are exactly the same. But I guess p2p won't work, cannot seem to find a way for this to work.

It doesn’t matter that they are 2 different VMs. They are still using the same wireless connection adapter/port. As it’s being ran from the same base machine. P2P won’t work like that.

Hey so does this more or less work like the BGamer T5 Offline Client for BO1? Any hope for a fix on the stat error mentioned in the opening post or is it just an ongoing issue?

I've used that on a GPD WIN to run combat training and zombies offline and its perfect for that function, turns BO1 into an awesome portable game and hoping this will do the same for BO2. Thanks.

There are several people trying to fix the stats issue with Redacted. It is an ongoing issue. I will report here on CabCon Modding as soon as there is a fix for the stats error.

Ok good to hear but I think i'm confused then.

So what is the difference between this and the Redacted Offline Clients offered as sticky threads in the top of this page, is it just the windows 10 fix or something else entirely? I'm coming from a place of almost no knowledge on this Redacted thing so if I am missing something obvious again I apologize.

The fully offline client you see in the sticky threads is sorta like this but this has the fix for Windows 10 and it also balances the ported weapons to where they are actually usable.

Alright thanks, that helps clear things up a bit. This may be outside the scope of this thread but could you give me a quick rundown of what the differences are between the different versions of Redacted?

So far I've seen this one, the Nightly and Developer LAN clients also here, and the version from mid 2017 on the redacted.se site. They all seem to have different modification dates and pretty drastic differences in file sizes but I can't find a readme in most of them or a general faq of what any do in particular or what makes them different. There are a few youtube videos but they are mostly unhelpful or from a time when the scope of the redacted project seems to have been different.

I tried looking through the threads of both the Nightly and Developer LAN versions here, but its mostly people just asking general support questions. Again I used the Bgamer LAN client for Black Ops 1 for offline combat training and zombies mode and am hoping this is at least somewhat similar. When you mention ported weapons does this add a bunch of guns from other games/modes to the game? Is this something I can disable or is it just built into the experience?
