Yes, it works with steam but I recommend to make a copy of your game folder and do it there. So you do not damage the steam version

Unfortunately you can not go online with thag version. Redacted is also cancelled, there won't come any updates.

Turn off antivirus completely, recommended to be using the steam files underneath the red files.

Yes, please ensure you are using the steam version with steam running in the background.
