take the original game Black Ops from Steam..also you just install the game on Steam ... when you finish you take the folder Call of Duty Black Ops you will find under C: Programs..Steam ...! ! Do you copy this folder and pack it on another partition Eg: D or E .... then you just take the date from the RAR directory packs in there and lets play

Hi, dudes. I have a problem when starting the BO. I installed the BO twice downloaded from 2 different pages. Normally it starts without problems but when it tried to use the BGT5 I have the error "steam must be running to play this game". I have installed the original BO purchased from Steam so I do not know if that is generating incompatibility. The two versions that I downloaded from the internet already brought all the DLC. I also tried to use the BGT5 in the original game but it does not work either. I tried to fix it by reinstalling the games but it does not work either.

Hey Bud, I have all a sudden the same problem . It always worked without a problem. Then, after not playing it for a while when I tried to start bGamer I got the same error. Never had that before. Only thing that happend to the PC after it worked was , that I had to change my ssd and probably windows had a major update at some point but either than that, everything was the same. If I try to start to normal single player exe it works and starts the game, so the crack obviously works fine. But if I try to launch it via bgT5Launcher.exe I get the error -.- . DO you have a fix by now ? Anyone ? please Help !!!!

Here in the above case, for games cracked by Skidrow team, you only need to copy the cracked files to the installation folder of the game. Brian had sent me some screenshots and I am using it below.

In that game folder, there is a folder named SKIDROW. Actually, this folder contains the crack files of this game and the patch file to avoid checking steam connection.
You need to copy these files and place it under the Installation folder.
It will prompt for confirmation to replace the existing files or cancel the copy. You need to replace the existing files.
Here are the steps in brief

• Locate the SKIDROW patch files inside your game folder.
• Copy the files and replace it with the files under the installation folder.

If you don’t have the skidrow patches with your game, download it from the internet.
After applying the files to the installation folder, the checking system for Steam will be disabled and you won’t see the “Steam must be running to play this game” anymore.

I know this is a decently old topic, but when playing solo, no DLCs are detected. I also found the solution to the "Loadscreen zombie prototype mini" problem if anybody still wants to fix that. It's a SKIDROW thing.

Now we found this custom map that we want to try out but I cannot figure out how to load it up, as in order to launch the game with the mods enabled, I need game_mod which cannot be launched in parallel with the bgt5launcher.exe. I was wondering if someone has figured out how to get around that / alternative ways to play custom maps over lan.

Had the same question and I have tried everything but all in vein. I have come to the conclusion that as long as nobody modifies the game to enable custom zombie maps with coop mode, there is no way to play a custom zombies map with friends.

private match doesn't work with the bgamer client. Try using the dedicated server option.....

Hi im having trouble with the launcher. I have black ops installed on steam and is using windows 10. When i install the launcher, it works and i can use its functionality, but as soon as i restart my PC, the game launches and in multiplayer it rapidly switches between fetching stats and connecting, and then stops and says unable to connect. I have checked whether my firewall or something is blocking it, but no luck. I also start hostmode every time. Like i said, everything works, until i restart the PC. Then it doesn't work and reinstalling it does nothing. Is there a way to check on which port the game is being hosted or a way to test if hostmode is actually working?

• Host can find players in the LAN via his friend list (they will get added automatically when they connect)

seems launcher has broken buttons (just flash's) on 0.6 also I can't find any of my friends even tho the ini's created on it. Also they seem to dislike 127.0.0.1

However they all work fine (expect friends) on 1.0 however. nice work.
