i am just going to repost it one more time because i am rly trying to make this work

so i downloaded the fitgirl repack which includes version 0.1 >hostmode starts perfectly >not host gets the connection error as soon as hes clicking on zombies

okay we probably need to update

downloaded the new version from here but now the game does not start when we click on singleplayer

trying to play zombies btw

Please download 0.1 first, because the 0.6 upload is not complete.

This is a problem, there seem to be compatibility issues with the new versions.
I have 0.1 and it's working. Which leads to the question: Where is the changelog? Is there a difference in gameplay? I also have files for 0.5 and 0.6, neither will run on my setup.

My Mobo popped so I upgraded. Since reinstall I've had endless uphill with this game. 0.5 and 0.6 crash on running Dedicated server, comes back with "Fatal Error" as if i can work with that information. Current game is Fitgirl, like i said 0.1 works for that but it irritates me that I can't get the latest version running.

Good to know, thanks for feedback. I'm busy trying to fix my CFG like i used to have it (just removes superfluous things that make game feel unrealistic like crosshair, hit indicators, health levels, IDs etc.) after that i'll take another look at sourcing the issue. If it works i'll let you know.

Also, i'd be keen to jam a session sometime. Only one PC in my house these days and i get bored to death with bots.

Busy working with .cfgs now. Having an issue getting some commands to stick. When booting up bgamer 0.1 i get a reminder that i can change settings in main/bgserver.cfg but i have noticed that this file does not automatically generate. Am busy trying to use a renamed server.cfg as a patch but not getting good feedback. Also seem unable to edit basic game settings ingame with consol (seta scr_team_fftype 1) for example = no response.

Die_Rache, if you're still here, please advise.

When I enter Singleplayer in 'bgT5Launcher.exe' without pressing 'Start Hostmode' and select Zombies in the Main Menu, It gives me a message which says something like "black ops server is not available at this time".

That doesn't happen when I press 'Start Hostmode'.

But the thing is, I need to play on LAN with my friend so he Starts as host and joins a lobby in zombies, and I need to put in his IP and select singleplayer but then I can't because without hostmode that error above comes up.

Yes I renamed the .exe's to bgt5sp and bgt5mp.
Everything is good except when running without host mode, it's just impossible to join a lobby for zombies.

PLEASE HELP ASAP :/

Hello!

Me and my brothers want to play zombies together via LAN connection, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've got the newest 0.6 version installed sbut i don't understand what CabCon means with this line :
  • Host can find players in the LAN via his friend list (they will get added automatically when they connect)
Because when I start my game as a host and make a private zombies lobby I can't see my brothers in my friends, or am I mistaking his sentence. If so can someone please help me with connecting to a zombies lobby on LAN.

Requirements
Game version with all DLCs. If you are missing any DLCs the game will not work. (You don't have all DLCs: Release - Black Ops DLC's Map Pack Download | CabConModding )
NemexisOps nosteam version has been successfully tested.

Installation
Copy the contents of the "Client Files" folder to your directory for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Start the "bgT5Launcher.exe" program and begin the local server by clicking "Start Hostmode". (127.0.0.1) is your internal IP address and should not be changed if you are hosting. You can type any nickname that you want, then start singleplayer or multiplayer. You can switch between each mode at any time.

I'm still having launcher error after renaming the game exe files (both SP and MP). Any solution? Using Windows 10 64 bit, and launcher v0.1 works fine. EDIT: I'm using FitGirl release with all DLCs (if that helps a bit)

Same, mine used to work completely fine (the launcher) but then outta nowhere this error started coming up. Although it only started to appear on my friend's laptop but not on mine...weird.

Oh, actually I already replace it with v0.6 launcher, but Windows explorer will still use the old icon cache(s) unless I restart it. Thanks for trying to help.

Hi everyone, I can't belive this game is still active and under development after such many year. GOOD WORK! But is anyone succeeded in unlocking levels in multiplayer? It is such a shame having a working setup (fitgirl+bgamer+lan+friends) and cannot even customize sets of weapons!

I've tried both in the console starting with bgt5launcher and in the ingame console but it doesn't work. I've paste each signle line without the "; ", am I doing it wrong? Thanks
