Could anybody help me I am getting the fast file error when trying to launch the custom zombies maps but it's a little different. It says "Error loading fastfile 'en_zm_wildwest': Fastfile archive checksum (0x5AFFBD78 0xCCC83871 0x205192D9 0x2AB0E985) does not match executable nor any permissible"

I have updates 1 through 26 applied and my game version is v77.0.0.0 I have tried The Buried Remake and MW2 Rust. Same error. Please if anyone knows how to fix this or has any ideas please share.

Hello guys,
in this short tutorial I will show you how to install a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Custom Map manually totally without steam. Please leave questions and suggestions below! Enjoy!

  • Download a custom zombie map here: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Custom Zombie Maps | CabConModding
  • Unzip the .rar file(s).
  • Place the folder from the .rar file in: Call of Duty Black Ops III\usermaps If usermaps doesn't exist please create the folder manually.
  • Start the game and select the map from the map menu in the zombie mode

(Images and more details will come soon)

I'm getting this error. (Error loading fastfile 'en_zm_test': Fastfile archive checksum (0x5AFFBD78 0xCCC83871 0x205192D9 0x2AB0E985) does not match executable nor any permissible) On Version V77.0.0.0 . Is there a fix?

So, this is all new to me. I've played custom zombies in the past with World at War, but haven't done anything with custom since then.

But I have a "noobish" question: If there are 3 parts to a map, then which do I download? I've tried downloading and extracting all 3 parts to the "usermaps" folder, but parts 2 and 3 seem to be the same. When I try to move part 3 into my maps folder it asks to replace the files with the same names, rename them, or cancel. What am I supposed to do here???

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been an AVID zombies player since the very beginning and this is literally the only game that I ever play.

You need to download all parts since the downloads with more than one part are multipart RAR files. A multipart RAR file is a standard RAR file, that was split into many smaller parts. You require all to unpack this correctly.

How to unpack multipart RAR files?
Simply install a unpack program (e.g.:
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
), put all parts of the multipart RAR archive in the same directory and double-click the first part.

Thanks a ton!! I've got it figured out and have about 15 maps already downloaded that I've been playing.

Can someone help me.
The tutorial shown does not work on my version (update 23 version 88.0.0.0.0), do you have any other indication for my version?

If this method doesn't work you can always try this:

- Extract files
- create a new folder named as "zone"
- put all the extracted files in this folder
- After this open up workshop.json and you should see "FolderName":
- create a new folder with the required name
- Place the zone folder with the extracted files you made earlier in this folder
- After place the folder in your usermaps directory

Thank you, I added the 'tutorial' to the main thread. :y:
